The classes   are on themes relating to Gypsy, Middle-Eastern and Silk-Road dance and improvisation - please get on my email list if you'd like regular updates or contact me to arrange something specially for you or your group. All classes are taught gently, encouraging efficient movement, using basic natural movement and alignment principles , gravity and imagery to help you move. Beginners and experienced dancers welcome.

Barefoot Flamenco in Macleod

Beginners & continuing - taught gently.

This class is aimed at older women, though anyone can attend. Taught in a gentle, safe way, encouraging you to get to know your body & express this amazing passionate music.  The movement principles taught apply to efficient use of the body generally, so you can use this knowledge in your everyday life. 

We don't usually work with choreography, unless the group wants that.  We will also work with fans, skirts and shawls.
